C.P. Group joined forces with executives of CP Foods PCL, CP All PCL, Siam Makro PCL and True Corp. PCL., announcing a nationwide recruitment of 28,000 jobs to help solve unemployment issues amongst new graduates and create job security amidst COVID-19
Mr. Suphachai Chearavanont, CEO of Charoen Pokphand Group Co., Ltd. (C.P. Group), along with executives Mr. Prasit Boondoungprasert, CEO of Charoen Pokphand Foods Plc., Mr. Tanin Buranamanit, Managing Director and CEO of CP All Plc., Mrs. Suchada Ithijarukul, CEO of Siam Makro Plc., and Mr. Anat Mekpaiboonvatana, President (CO) of True Corporation Plc., collectively launched a hiring program of new graduates under the age of 25 with a target of 28,000 people to help provide a solution for unemployed graduates. These opportunities will enable job security, benefit the country, and assist in the recovery of the economy due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Group) , along with executives Mr. Prasit Boondoungprasert, CEO of Charoen Pokphand Foods Plc., Mr. Tanin Buranamanit, Managing Director and CEO of CP All Plc., Mrs. Suchada Ithijarukul, CEO of Siam Makro Plc., and Mr. Anat Mekpaiboonvatana, President (CO) of True Corporation Plc., collectively launched a hiring program of new graduates under the age of 25 with a target of 28,000 people to help provide a solution for unemployed graduates. These opportunities will enable job security, benefit the country, and assist in the recovery of the economy due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Mr. Suphachai also mentioned that new recruits would represent 10 percent of C.P. Group’s total workforce. New graduates aged 25 and under will be hired from both vocational colleges and universities. Of the total, 8,000 will be hired by CP Foods PCL. with 4,000 people for its Bangkok operations and another 4,000 for other provinces. Another 12,000 people will be hired by CP All PCL., and 5,000 people by Siam Makro PCL. True Corporation PCL. employed 6,500 new workers during the COVID-19 crisis and will employ an additional 3,000 more people from September to December this year.
In this regard, C.P. Group places great emphasis on developing talent by providing upskilling and reskilling development. Digital skillsets for new employees will help facilitate their ability to work in the 4.0 era, so that they can reach their full potential.

Mr. Prasit Boonduangprasert, CEO of Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (CPF), revealed that CPF was ready to support the Group’s policy. It will accept 8,000 new graduates, with 4,000 positions in Bangkok and 4,000 more going to provinces across the country. There will be jobs throughout the supply chain from upstream to downstream. CPF are also seeking IT related workforce to support the expansion of its Smart Farming business and food delivery services, which require a large number of employees to expand the market.
Mr. Tanin Buranamanit, Managing Director and CEO of CP All PCL, said that CP ALL is accelerating its online business investments to meet the transformations of Industry 4.0 by recruiting an additional 12,000 employees. The new S-Curve will boost a new generation of SMEs that are expected to generate an additional 5,000 jobs that will help restore the economy at the community and national levels during this COVID-19 crisis.
Mrs. Suchada Ithijarukul, CEO of Siam Makro PCL, stated that Siam Makro’s business has over 130 branches nationwide and the company needed people to help support the expansion of its branches. The company has a policy to develop people and Siam Makro was ready to recruit new graduates, supporting C.P. Group’s policy to develop people and the organization together. In this regard, Siam Makro will recruit an additional 5,000 new graduates at the vocational qualification with a focus on digital and IT skills to meet its needs and adjust to the New Normal.
Mr. Anat Mekpaiboonvatana President (Co), True Corporation PCL. shared that during COVID-19, True Corporation PCL. had hired 6,500 additional employees and will receive an additional 3,000 positions from September to December 2020 to establish new initiatives for the organization. Recruitment will be targeted towards the IT, service, and sales workforce. While new recruits will undergo upskilling and reskilling training with a focus on digital skillsets to prepare for the 4.0 era.
