Hong Kong Belt and Road Pioneer Delegation Visits C.P. Group
July 5, 2018 – Netithorn Praditsarn, Ph.D., Vice President, Group Sustainability and Communications, Office of CEO- Charoen Pokphand Group along with Mr. Huang Wei Wei, General Manager (Project Development) CT Infrastructure Development Co., Ltd. recently welcomed the ‘Belt & Road Pioneer’ (BRP) delegation from Hong Kong to the Charoen Pokphand Group (C.P. Group). The delegation consisting of 30 students who won the inter-school 2018 ‘My Interfaces with the Belt and Road Initiative’ Integrated Abilities Competition was provided with the opportunity to learn about C.P. Group’s history, its businesses, and sustainability initiatives.
Led by Mr. Herman Hu, Hong Kong Deputy of the National People’s Congress of PRC and the ex-Council Chairman of City University of Hong Kong and Mr. Wilson Chan, PhD., Chairman of BRP and Director of MBA Program of City University of Hong Kong, the delegation was also briefed about Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Development Plan, Thailand’s 4.0 economic policy as well as the opportunities brought forth by the Belt and Road Initiative.
The ‘My Interfaces with the Belt and Road Initiative’ Integrated Abilities Competition was established in 2017 by the Belt and Road Pioneer with the goal of equipping youngers with the knowledge and tools provided by the Belt and Road Initiative.
