C.P. Group and Airbus Partner to Explore Sustainable Aviation Fuel Production in Thailand

Paris, May 16, 2024 - Charoen Pokphand Group Company Limited (C.P. Group) today announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airbus to explore the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) using various sources of feedstock, such as agriculture and farm wastes, and innovative technologies in Thailand.
The MoU, which was signed in Paris, aims to investigate a commercially viable market for SAF, with the potential to reduce carbon emissions of air travel.
In addition, the two companies have agreed to work together to explore data-driven solutions for route optimization across various modes of transportation, leverage advanced software and analytics to identify cost-effective routes, enhance delivery productivity, and improve overall logistics efficiency.
C.P. Group subsidiaries including Charoen Pokphand Foods and True Leasing Co., Ltd. will also participate in this joint project.
