Chairman Soopakij Chearavanont Leads Delegation to the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), Showcasing CP Group’s “Kitchen of the World” Vision

Chairman Soopakij Chearavanont of Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group), along with the company’s senior executives, participated in the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) held from November 4–10, 2024, in Shanghai, China. The event serves as a key platform to foster business opportunities and promote free trade between China and the global community, with participants from 152 countries worldwide.

This year, CP Group presented its products under the theme of the "Kitchen of the World," featuring nine business sectors and more than 252 products. Highlights included premium Thai fruits like durian under the CPFresh brand, CP Selection Thai shrimp, CPI jasmine rice, Aro seasoning products, Naxnax crispy seafood snacks, and many other offerings.

Chairman Soopakij toured the CP Group exhibition booth and engaged in discussions with business partners, emphasizing the importance of expanding international business opportunities to enhance global trade and economic relations.

Additionally, China's national broadcaster CCTV conducted an exclusive interview with CPFresh, a representative of Thai export products showcased at the 7th CIIE. This interview provided CPFresh with an opportunity to highlight its commitment to expanding the market for Thai agricultural products in China and beyond.

She stated, “We firmly believe that this initiative will strengthen the economic ties between China and Thailand while contributing to sustainable global economic growth.”
