Executives of Charoen Pokphand Group Join the Forbes Global CEO Conference 2024 to Exchange Visions for a Sustainable Future
Bangkok, 20 November 2024 – The senior executive team of Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group), led by Senior Chairman Dhanin Chearavanont, Chairman Soopakij Chearavanont, Ms. Marisa Chearavanont, CEO Suphachai Chearavanont, and Ms. Busadee Chearavanont, had the honor of attending the Forbes Global CEO Conference 2024.
The prestigious global seminar brought together over 400 business leaders from around the world at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Bangkok. This year’s event, themed “New Paradigms,” focused on the exchange of visions and ideas to navigate the rapidly changing landscape of the global business environment.

One of the highlights of the conference was a keynote speech by Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO of Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (commonly known as LVMH).

He was joined by Mr. Chartsiri Sophonpanich, President of Bangkok Bank, and Mr. Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, CEO of Frasers Property, to discuss the future direction of Thailand. The panel focused on the nation's ability to attract foreign investment and its preparedness to address economic changes and challenges.
CEO Suphachai Chearavanont highlighted significant opportunities in technology sectors, particularly in data centers.
He urged the government to focus on transparent trade policies, simplifying the tax structure, and accelerating infrastructure projects to enhance Thailand’s potential as a regional innovation hub. His remarks emphasized the importance of strategic planning and policy implementation to position Thailand as a leader in the rapidly evolving technological landscape.
Additionally, CEO Suphachai Chearavanont emphasized the importance of sustainable business practices and advancing Net-Zero goals.
He highlighted the development of renewable energy, efficient resource management, and the creation of sustainable supply chains as key strategies. The 22nd Forbes Global CEO Conference 2024, held in Bangkok, Thailand, was co-hosted by Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group) and Thai Beverage Public Company Limited. This marks Thailand's second time hosting the event, following its successful debut in 2018.
