"Senior Chairman Dhanin Chearavanont" Leads CP Group at the 2nd CISCE Global Supply Chain Expo and Joins a Select Group of Nine Global Business Leaders in Economic Discussions with China's Premier

Beijing, November 25, 2024 – Senior Chairman Dhanin Chearavanont of Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group), along with CEO Suphachai Chearavanont and other senior executives, attended the 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in Beijing.

The event, organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), serves as a global platform bringing together business leaders and key sectors worldwide to exchange insights and foster collaboration in economic development, supply chain advancements, and sustainable economic recovery.

Senior Chairman Dhanin Chearavanont was among nine global business leaders invited to participate in an in-depth discussion with Chinese Premier Li Qiang. Other leaders from top global companies, including Apple, Sumitomo Electric, Lenovo, and CATL, also joined the talks. The discussions emphasized the critical importance of robust partnerships in revitalizing the global economy and driving sustainable growth.

At the opening ceremony, Premier Li Qiang highlighted the vital role of supply chains in global economic recovery. He underscored how the expansion of production and supply chains over recent decades has fueled global economic growth and delivered benefits across all sectors.

"The Chinese government will continue implementing measures to stimulate the economy and develop new industries while enhancing cooperation with other countries to support global economic recovery. We hope that companies will work together to build resilient and efficient production chains, contributing to shared prosperity worldwide," stated Premier Li Qiang.

During the conference, Senior Chairman Dhanin Chearavanont was among the nine global business leaders who shared their perspectives as prominent figures in the global business community. He reaffirmed that CP Group remains committed to the Chinese market and expressed confidence in China's robust economic prospects.

"China remains a key destination for global investors due to its significantly improved business environment. CP Group plans to increase its investments and expand its business in China to foster shared global growth," said Senior Chairman Dhanin Chearavanont.

The 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), is a significant global event, bringing together over 500 companies and organizations from around the world, including 53 Fortune Global 500 companies. The expo aims to strengthen global production chain connectivity and foster sustainable and resilient economic recovery.

This conference not only underscored China's critical role in the global economy but also highlighted CP Group's leadership in driving economic collaboration for mutual progress on an international scale.
