Education plays a key role in realizing Malaysia’s aspirations to become a developed nation. It is also a way out of poverty for communities that are underserved in the country. As part of our commitment in supporting the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals 4 (Quality Education), we understand the need to invest in our future generations and encourage the development of lifelong skills. Together with our partner, the PINTAR Foundation, we have ‘adopted’ as many as 63 underprivileged schools across Peninsular Malaysia, enabling us to benefit young children from underserved (low economic background) communities through supplementary educational programmes that foster academic and non-academic excellence.
