The "Precious Wildlife and Valued Forest" Nature & Conservation Photography Competition Project and accompanying activities have been held continuously for 28 years by the National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation Department and Charoen Pokphand Group. In organizing this photo contest, the aim is to use photos as a medium to raise awareness of nature and environment conservation as well as organize activities to promote knowledge in various fields such as photography training for youths and the general public, a photo contest via the Facebook fan page 'Precious Wildlife and Valued Forest' and bird watching activity 'CP Bird Walk'. etc. In addition, the project has also made use of award-winning photos to create various forms of public relations media to cultivate a love of nature among all Thai people so that they can see the importance and the beauty of nature and appreciate as well as cherish these natural wonders. It also creates opportunities for Thai people to join together to conserve valuable treasures that are a natural world heritage for a sustainable future.
