The population of Wiang Yong Community comprised of 5,481 people and approx. latent population at 3500. There is elderly over 60 yrs. old with society addict at 1,501 people. From long-term screening of health problems in elderly according to the ability to carry out Barthel Activities of Daily Living: ADL found 2 groups need special care and health support ( ADL Score <11) ; elderly at home at 76 people and bedridden elderly at 9 people. Promoting elderly at home to maintain self-independence and delay the bedridden state is significant.

This project has a focus on hand rehabilitation. body flexibility That is an obstacle in the routines of the elderly in the home group, such as shoveling food, buttoning shirts, rubbing soap, moving, etc. by inventing appropriate orthotics. Including a systematic management system for those who enter the project which socially-addicted elderly people can invent by themselves with the tools available in the community in the form of a friend helping a friend project The public health working group will use the Routine to Research (R2R) system in the project. to enhance the skills of the local public health working group
