Charoen Pokphand Group Co., Ltd.
In general, spotted scat fish can be found along the river’s mouths throughout Thailand. The fish is not particularly popular and being sold at low price. Due to the geographic and environmental characteristics at the Songkhla lake, the fish has been found to pose a unique texture which result in its extra popularity. Therefore, the fish in Songkhla lake are always in high demand. At present, the fish stock has been dramatically decreased and causes the artisanal fisheries to lose their income.
