Promoting Business Plan Development
An approach in developing new generation leaders is to provide both leaders and employees with opportunities to propose ideas that encourage employees to translate knowledge into action.
Charoen Pokphand Group’s Agro-industry and Food Business Group in China (Northern region) held a Business Plan Contest that encouraged the participation of all employees. Up to 99% of employees took part in the contest, resulting in more than 245 projects that were conceived from the collective efforts of employees. These projects will serve as the major forces in further business development.
The project has, thus far, produced a team of over 577 new generation leaders as well as collaborated with over 144 partner educational institutions to organize the contest. Furthermore, the Group also co-sponsored the Practical Marketing for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest for college students for five consecutive years since 2016.
