Bangkok, 18 January 2022 - Chia Tai Company Limited, Thailand's leading innovative agricultural company, continues its commitment in contributing to the society under “Chia Tai Volunteer for Community” project in a bid to provide people with food security and ensure that they have access to safe and fresh food sources amidst the COVID-19 situation.

After presenting various vegetable seeds to Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, the faculty staff have created a mini home garden on the faculty building’s rooftop under “Maeban Sang Sook” project supported by Thai Health Promotion Foundation. The project started since 2021 with the faculty members and maids joining forces to plant vegetables for their own consumption, making it possible for them to have access to safe and fresh vegetables and save money during the pandemic situation, while also creating sheer happiness. In addition, the donated seeds have been distributed to other communities under the faculty’s network nationwide with an aim to support those who earn limited income to plant home garden vegetables in their own communities and have food security during this critical time.

This is another project that highlights the company's dedication in joining forces with other organizations to benefit the society, particularly in a pandemic situation where strong collaboration is crucial. Essentially, Chia Tai would like to help contribute to the society in accordance with the company's vision to enhance people’s quality of life on a sustainable basis by fostering agricultural innovations through quality products and services.
