CPF joined hands with leading network partners to drive the “Circular Meal…This Meal Changes the World” project to deliver safe food to disadvantaged people, reduce food loss, manage food surplus and create food enriched with nutrition to reaffirm our commitment in establishing sustainable food security.

The project emphasizes on the reduction of social and environmental impacts and maximizing resource efficiency based on the principle of Reduce – Recharge – Reborn. It targets to distribute food from the food surplus management process in order to promote good nutrition as well as a comprehensive take back system. Throughout 2021, the project piloted the distribution of 10,000 meals to disadvantaged people in Bangkok and the vicinity.

Partners who participated in the project include PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited, Makro, C.P. Intertrade Company Limited (Royal Umbrella Rice), Scholars of Sustenance Foundation (SOS), Sub Ruong Sai Community Enterprise, Wastegetable and GEPP Sa-Ard.
