Sustainability Governance

Charoen Pokphand Group has a Sustainability Committee to drive sustainability operations with efficiency and effectiveness. The committee is also tasked to oversee the implementation and progress of the C.P. Group’s 2030 Sustainability Framework, as well as other sustainability-related issues.

This committee comprises highly qualified and experienced professionals from various fields who are deeply passionate about driving positive change. This committee is chaired by the Chief Sustainability Officer, Dr. Teerapon Tanomsakyut, with high-level executives from all business units, both from listed and non-listed companies, as members. The Sustainability Committee has a primary objective of assessing, monitoring, and improving the group's sustainability performance across all its business units and operations. In addition to the Sustainability Committee, C.P. Group also has the Sustainability, Good Governance and Corporate Communication Office, and the Sustainability, Good Governance and Corporate Communication Working Group take the lead in implementing the guidelines and directions issued by the Sustainability Committee across the entire organization.

The formation of the Sustainability Committee also demonstrates the C.P. Group's dedication to transparency and responsibility. The committee reports to the Board of Directors and Executive Board on the Group's sustainability developments on a regular basis, ensuring that stakeholders such as employees, investors, customers, and the larger community are kept up to date on the company's efforts and achievements in this crucial area.
